is it normal for my fazer mk2 to turn the car itself alot sharper when turning left, rather than when turning right it whips the car around alot slower? ive checked the steering and both directions seem to reach the same angle so im thinking it might be up with the differential in the rear wheels?

Rebuild the diffs and see what happens. It also might be a dying servo. Good servos are pretty inexpensive to replace.
