Any ideas with a vn with a sun roof?

Do you think its a concern that its missing the factory insulation for noise and heat? Also no velcro for long term mounting? Could either of these be added back in do you think?

Can definitely be added, there's room for it. So you could add in double sided Velcro in the sections the stock board would have had. Also adding in sound deadening or heat shield is also a great idea. Stock insulation carpets would fit still, just I don't think they really offer much.
