Question? My original entire screen went out. It stated no signal, made a loud screeching sound now no longer works. Not sure if i need to replace the screen, radio, fuse or what? I saw your video & I believe if i replace it with an upgraded screen it might work. My radio isn't working or the screen. I heard the screens get hot then blow out but I am desperately trying to avoid paying BMW just for diagnoses for them to tell me i need a new one. I have a 2013 Bmw 528i. Thanks

My screen is not working. In addition to LVDS cable I also have another wire connected to my original CIC screen. I’m unsure what to do with this additional connection as I do not see any instructions in the installation guide for this. Where should the additional cable be connected? I believe the other wire you're talking about that connects to the OEM display is the power wire, which doesn't need to be connected anywhere after installing the android screen (which is already getting power). Please check your ISO harness connections to make sure they are working. @@edgarmartinez2000 I was able to correct the issue with my screen. I did not correctly attach all the cables to the PEMP screen when I initally installed, that is the reason my screen did not work. The extra cable I was referring to in my initial post does not need to be plugged in and can be left hanging. The problem I had with the sound is because I had to connect the PEMP system to the AUX is the center console then select the PEMP setting to play OEM. Hope this helps

You don't have to worry, you first check whether the fiber optic cable is switched. At the second minute and 30 seconds of the video, there is a process of converting the fiber optic cable. You refer to the video for transfer. If the error still occurs after the transfer, you can restore the original car state. After the fault disappears, disconnect the power supply of the car and install it again.
