I fitted a similar unit on my BMW x1 F48 and i forgot to swap the two green fiber optical wires. And after fixing its showing everything except the original i drive settings, could that be the problem?

Great vid. How's the reflections off the new screen? The angle makes it look like it would reflect the back window and be distracting. Is it? Thanks!

Hello Do I have to disconnect the car battery beforehand? Or doesn't it matter, nothing can happen, like a short circuit or something like that...

I am struggling with to buy the 14.9 inch or not. I have a couple of questions. Is the brightness adjustable? Can you put the screen off when driving? When you put the gear in R, does the original screen pop up with the sensors? Because i do not have a rear camera and i am not planning to install it either. Is it dangerous because of the possible heat? I like to go on vacation in the summer where it is hot throughout the day.. Should i do it? Help me please. I have an f10 from 2011 with the 10inch screen.

is this the octa core screen and how long does it take to connect to car play? i've got quad core takes about 40 seconds which is too long

You find that in the newer models you don't need to worry about running that aux cable...waste of time and effort and not to mention ugly
