Is there an issue using external drives in the USB? I tried plugging my WD My Book and 1080p worked but my 4K content always causes the Zidoo to reboot. It doesn't seem to be able to handle the files. If I stream the same files from my computer, they work fine.

No Samba server option on a X9S

I don't no what I am doing wrong, but if I go to my Samba server and to one of my disks I only see the recycle.bin. I don't see any of my movies or other content !!!???

Is there anyway to increase the transfer speed to the SAMBA sever?? Im only getting around 5 to 10mbps

have 1 question. How do you do the series on zidoo? That's the only problem I have. I already have them on the nas, but on zidoo shows as (a,b,c) and so on. I don't know what season and what episode I am looking at.Thanks

Thank you for this video. I need your helps sir. I just set up my Zidoo UHD2000 with WiFi setup. I also set up my synology NAS with all my movie files. When I tried to link my NAS to my zidoo player by running SMB scan under Source, It couldn’t find my NAS at all. Can you help me? What did I do wrong?Do i need to use Ethernet connected to zidoo player to find my NAS network? Thank you!

Yes, connect thru ethernet and it should work.

You have to remember, this process works on the older Zidoo but not the latest models. I heard on their forums that this will be fixed in the next firmware updates. I saw someone say that the beta firmware update has the fix. I have not tested it yet though. Good Luck. PM

If you name the directory or file Boogeyman_1980 and Boogeyman_2003 it will work. Then you should be able to categorize them into one folder.

Pc and a hub for sata hdd and you tranfer all your movies at ones with speed no sampa, rename movies

I have been ripping directly from my UHD drive right to my Zidoo hard drives. Is there any disadvantages doing it this way? I've ripped a couple hundred movies like this and doesn't seem to be any problems so far.

I WISH YOU CAN GO IN THE FILE PART OF THE ZIDOO AND I WISH THE POSTERS WOULD SHOW UP THERE BECAUSE I HAVE THEM ALL SET UP IN SAY A SET FOLDER FOR MOVIES SETS LIKE MOVIES WITH MORE THAN ONE PART... I HATE THE UNMATCHED THING I GOT LIKE 200 UNMATCHED ... I WILL BE THERE FOR WEEKS
