Hi so I tried to install my privacy door knobs myself but I can't seem to fit the anti rotation block...its too big for it..what can I do?

How to you change the latch from 2 3/4" to 2 3/8" backset?

Hi John, Assuming your door has the borehole pre-drilled and the backset measurement is 2-⅜", then the hardware must be ordered as a 2-⅜" backset version. The way our hardware is manufactured, you can not make any mechanical adjustments to the latch to change its backset. www.nostalgicwarehouse.com/determining-backset-size-and-door-thickness/ Unfortunately, a 2-¾" backset version will not fit a 2-⅜" backset, so you will need to replace the door hardware with the correct size backset version.
