Love the debadging of the tailgate. Did the same to mine a few weeks ago. Went full cycle on the process. Went from chrome to black. Then from black to delete and I’m happiest with delete. Just a cleaner look.

You really dialed this vid in super well. I liked the new 6.2 badges and side marker covers way more than I thought I would. Definitely worth a try to see how well they hold up after a bit of time. Appreciate the updates on the exhaust and the sliders.

I have a black Trailboss with the 6.2. I replaced the chrome siverado letters on the tailgate with matte black letters. I removed the LT badge on the tailgate and installed a 6.2 matte black badge on the tailgate where the LT badge went. I also replaced the 6.2 badges on the hood with matte black. I.think a 6.2 badge like the badges you replaced on your hood would look good on the left corner where your Silverado badge was. Just a thought.

That highway drone with my muffler delete is what caused me to change to a large Magnaflow. Sorry I don’t know thw model Number now but if I get it I will share. Still gives pretty good sound but is significantly better on the drone. I tried a magnaflow about the size of the Borla Atak but for me the highway drone was still too much. Love what your doing with you truck, giving me lots of ideas. Thanks!

Following. I have the Borla ATAK on my 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 (6.2L) with the flapper delete. The drone at highway speeds is noticable compared to the stock. I am looking for a little less drone, but keeping some of the around town growl

@@matt13ross -- When I watched your video, the straight pipe (muffler delete) you did sounds about 2x worse vs the Borla I have on mine. The Borla ATAK sounds excellent around town, butgets "noticable" and annoying at highway speeds. With the stock muffler...zero drone. Goal is to find a happy medium. Maybe the MagnaFlow as the other viewer stated?

Why do people freak out about brushes? Paint companies even say that brushes are fine to use. Rinse it off first but there’s zero evidence or proof that the dirt they retain scratches your paint. That’s why you rinse it off first. If you’re dumb enough to use a mud/pebble encrusted brush then that’s on you.

first thing i did on my zr2 was remove that awful chrome 6.2 badge and silverado too lol. Trying to find all black zr2 replacement badges but no one makes them yet... also went with the factory borla exhaust. No drone. Sounds insanely good.

Mines not for sale and I continuously get offers for 10-15k over what I paid, but I love it and I’m not selling it considering the dpf delete/tune kit is no longer available. Then again, HD Diesel 🇨🇦 is no longer around. I guess selling stolen tunes isn’t a great business model 🤷🏻‍♂️

1.) Always wash the wheels first 2.) Get yourself a pressure washer and foam cannon (it'll save your paint from massive swirls and scratches) 3.) Get some good microfiber drying towels. 4.) Enjoy your clean almost swirl free truck

I prefer the wheels last, as they are the dirtiest and will dirty the bucket the most. I have both, and I use it sometimes. Honestly I think foam cannons are a scam lol. I have some, but prefer my chamois. Trust me, my stuff is swirl free!

Is it droning while in DFM mode? If so I see a lot of people having luck with the PULSAR LT FOR 2019-2022 GM 1500 it's a simple by pass plug in takes minutes to install and you can unplug it later for smog or warranty work, seems to do the ticket on that along with auto start stop
