Installing 60% Stiffer Clutch Springs | 2023 Grom Build Part 27

Buckle in, this is a long and boring one.
Finally time to do something about the weak stock clutch springs and really stiffen up the clutch lever! The difference is night and day and no longer feels like a 1988 Honda Civic transmission. I wish I hadn't waited so long to do it.
Triple check your clutch basket before you put it back in, by the way!

Nice little mini-wheelie. I don't have an opinion on magnetic drain plugs but kinda seems like snake oil when it has an oil filter. With the older groms with the centrifugal oil filtering system it might help show when its time to take your engine apart to clean it. However, even in that case if you follow the maintenance schedule it is fine without the magnetic drain plug.

I would have put a magnetic drain plug in it. It's mind blowing what they catch.

Could you please explain the front light cable on the grom. I would like to add a custom light on it, but I don't really know which cable should I connect it with.

I followed every step in here and have torn it apart multiple times but I either get 0 clutch activation or I have no play in the part I connect the cable too. Seems like the problem you had at the end of the video I just don’t understand what you are talking about ?

make sure everything is fully 100% absolutely lined up and fully seated in the bottom of the basket. that’s what my issue was, it wasn’t all the way down in the bottom of the stack.

It has the filter that you get to from the outside and the screen on the inside, yes.

Does the kit come with the 3 extra bolts or do you have to buy them separately?
