Installing 8th gen Si seats in a EK Civic Hatchback!

This project was a little bit more complicated then usual but we definitely learned a lot! i am glad we finally have matching seats in the EK HATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m doing the same thing but with my EM1 I’m just trying to find someone who can weld the brackets for me.

I have a ek hatch a 98 and have the same seats but the previous owner i think weld them on so im not sure what they did what rails you use or brackets to put them like normal seats?

Do the factory seat belts buckle in to them

going to get racing seats soon! so I'll do the race quip seat harnesses

No they dont I just tried on mine. I plan to take the stock buckle off and putting it on the si seat

How did you removed the rails bro? How many bolts there is ? When i checked mine it seems to be hold it by like a triangle looking type of nuts and bolts.

we cut into those and used a flat head to take them out bro

yes because of our amazing welds we did yo the bracket lmao

@@xQsalan lol see I just drilled a couple holes in bracket and a hammer to fit in ek and it looks to me like its a bit close to the door but feels normal

They sit too high I put them on my civic

sadly they do but they're atleast more comfortable than the oem ones
