Installing a 1701p silhouette trigger into a Crosman 1322, lessons learned but very nice!

I added the 1701p trigger to an early 1970s 1300 Medalist. Because it’s a self-cocker it uses a solid cylinder for the hammer (no notch) so It’s a direct mount. Absolutely amazing air gun now. I think you could do the same with any of the old self cockers. Serious game changer. I wouldn’t have known this was possible without this video. Thanks Nibs!

You can take the old grip frame and smooth it out and take all the casting seems out by sanding it then paint or polishing it out and sell it as custom 👍✌️💯🛠️🍻

Thank you . I have a really custom 2300T that has a great trigger. But it is still a single stage trigger. I was looking at the grip and then found your video. Thanks parts are in the mail 12/31/2024.

There ways to get all the crossman model parts to work with each other. Get a prod maruader hammer it also will need a little modify but it works great and it adjustable 😉👍✌️💯🎯🍻

Yup it's a two stage it a Benjamin marauder trigger prod but it will work on any tube that the same size it can also mount to the 2260 discovery and the annversery model. On some of the models you have to pull the trigger in till it's mounted or you can actually snap the sear👍✌️💯🛠️🍻 ps I always have to use a bic to reassemble it 😉

IV mod the original style trigger set up to work good but it takes quite a bit of work and parts almost every thing get replaced inside. to even come some what close to the Benjamin 2 stage.😬

The stock Crosman screws are made of the softest cheese-like metal with the most random head shape for a screw driver?? The pull weight on my 2240 was 4.5 Ibs, that's far far too heavy. Nice little upgrade.

Ive thought about doing this a few times but it was very unclear if you needed to change the hammer and stuff! (Some said yes... Others no.) Id guess you do now 😁 _Looks like this is a bit too expensive and complicated for me 😢_

the pdf's come in handy , the hammer in the 1701 is adjustable from the pdf it looks like it has a hole threw the power adjuster , I am in luck I have one of these power adjuster , just need the hammer now

Hi I have a 1377 I bought new about 6 months back. Modded into a carbine with lots of BuckRail parts and topped with a Vortex Crossfire II 2-7. It’s really accurate with stock barrel but I want that 1701P trigger assy on it. I seen where some had to put a curved washer on the back side but it looks as though you did not. I can get the hammer from Alchemy Airworks and the new spring. Do you still like that trigger and would you still do it again and also can you confirm just need to pull the trigger in while installing. I like all your videos by the way. I am retired as well and really enjoy this little air gun. Thank you for any info you can share.

I am not sure what the washer would be for. This mod is definitely worth it. The 1701 has an amazing trigger

Is there any red dot manufacturer that makes a model for 3/8" grooved receivers? Seems there's millions of 22's that could benefit from them.
