@@survivalcampman I would like to ask you about an issue I am having with my hdr50 11 joules and the Hdr68 16 joules. I purchased both of them with the upgrades already installed from the factory. Both pistols have started to leak air from the indicator button as soon as I puncture the Co2 cartridge. I have no idea why both of these guns started giving me this problem around the same time. I always spray silicone oil every 3 or 4 Co2 cartridges. Could you please give me an idea why this is happening? Thank you so much.
@survivalcampman9 ай бұрын
Everything is trial and error, process elimination, so of you say its comming from the pressure indicator, then the only reason(s) it would be leaking would be 1. The brass screw fitting is not screwed in and tightened all the way. 2. The O-ring that seals the brass fitting needs to be replaced, 3. The O-ring could have a kink or bend in it and simply needs to be losened, re positions then screwed back in. 4. The brass fittings themselves have defects and is causing the airleak, ( unlikely ) If you gi through all of these and there is still an air leak, then, we look into other possabilities, You can communicate with me Directly on my FB group page, Survival Camp, I will send a link. You you cant get this figured out, you can send me video or pictures so we can figure out exactly what to do.

Thanks for the info brother man. On the 11J I drilled the valve pice in the handle for more co2 and removed the valve block as you said. Didn't touch the one that's needs to be heated to be removed. I will put HPA next. Do I need tuning barrel first? What is your advice?
@survivalcampman7 күн бұрын
@ivanbear9996 no problem brother, have you shot it yet since the mod? Its not necessary to get the barrel. But having the extension gives you 40 to 100 extra fps depending on pressure. if you do the hpa bottle, dont go above a 1100psi regulator. It can blow up and seriously injure you. Having a 850psi to 1000psi is safe the gun is only registered safe to 1000psi And always depressurize the gun after your done with it. If you leave a hpa bottle pressurized with a 1100psi regulator, it can slowly weekend over the course of a day to a few days and explode randomly. This had happened to people. So always depressurize your gun even with a 850psi to 1100psi regulator. Let me know how you make out. How it shoots and if you have any issues

Do you know any negative things about the crimped pressure chamber from the valve? I‘ve heard it can explode because it‘s not threaded anymore 😮
@survivalcampman7 ай бұрын
That explosion happened because the doofis left a High pressure air tank with a 1100 psi regulator on it in the gun, and eventually it blew, its only designed for 800 to 950 max psi, although you can have 1100 psi in it for short term use. But he left it in his gun un attended for days. Its not smart to leave pressure in these guns, they need to be de- pressurized after each use.
@survivalcampman7 ай бұрын
The black pressure holding tube attatched to the firing mechanism has always been crimped they had no reason to make it a screw tight fit, because it was never designed to withstand anymore preasure then co2 pressure. When dumb a$$'s put in high pressure regulators 1100 plus and wonder why it exploded, well thats cuz there mentally challenged.
@mario_theOne7 ай бұрын
I‘ve called Umarex in germany and they said the same so that really makes sense 😅 I have also converted the gun to HPA but don't leave it overnight at 1100 PSI. Anyway thanks for the answer ✌️
@JohnGjertz8 күн бұрын
Hi! In Timestamp; 23:40 - 49 etc. Why can't you just remove the whole piece "valve"/insert/reductor or what it is called. Like in the 11 Joule version? Would it not be much simpler?
@survivalcampman8 күн бұрын
If you did that then all of the co2 would be released when firing, There needs to be an air restriction hole, the size of the hole changes the amount of co2 pressure and gas that gets let off each shot. the volume of pressure builds up and when you hit the trigger the co2 is released, You can do this with the 11J because you still have the little disc with the small hole in the middle inside the black co2 tube, but the 11J restrictor piece is completely different it is just a piece if metal in place to hold back some valume, its a weird engineering flaw I think, the 7.5J does not have one of these discs or even have the screw threads to be able to take one. The kits for them exspect you to just cram it into place. and it will fall out time to time. The best gun to Buy is the 11J verson, easier to deal with,
@survivalcampman8 күн бұрын

@autolufs that has happened to people who leave thier hpa bottles connected without de-pressurizing the chamber for storage, the co2 chamber was only ever intended for 1000psi for short perioid, you are sappose to depressurize the gun after each use, but if you want to add a hpa tank with line adaptor and leave 1100psi pressure in it. Exspect it to explode. Never go above 1100psi and always depressurize after each use. Co2 or HPA

Hi wich size have you use to drilling the valve of the 7,5j ? Tanks for your video and your explanation.
@survivalcampman7 ай бұрын
Hey Brother NP happy to provide to all my brothers in the world, I used a 1/16, and do NOT drill all the way through, you want to almost drill all the way through, when you get near the end, then you can start to open the whole by 1/10 of a mm at a time, you dont want the hole too big, about 2 to 3 times bigger then it originally was, remember you can only get so much FPS out of co2 cuz it only has 700 to 900 PSI of pressure depending on Temperature, if you make the hole too big, then you wont get as many shots from 1 tank, and make sure its the right hole, its tiny if you cant see if try using light to shine through, its the size of a human hair its tiny, so only make it 2 times to 3 times the original size, with a standard rubber ball which normally shoots 270fps to 310fps, without modifying, ude normally get about 45 shots on average, after modification, it will shoot at 375 to 500, depending on temperature, the first 12 shots are always the best, and you should be able to get 27 to 35 shots all together before it runs out. Also by adding on a barrel extension that is all the same diameter from load to tip, then that will increase it by 30 to 60 fps, just by adding on the extension. Also, ( it can take a long time to drill the hole, the metal is very dence and hard, using a hand drill will take a while) if you have a big powerful drill from a shop, then it wont take as long. But keep checking the hole after each time you retract drilling even if its just a 30 second session, check it every time, and if you cant see it good, use a small light, or a magnifying glass.

@survivalcampman10 ай бұрын
Probably not, it would not be necassary anyways, youd just have to drill open the gas escape hole the same diameter as the 16j hole. Basically, the best thing to do is, get a chrony, and slowly open the air hole by 1/10th's of a mm, or 1.6ths of a 1/16th, Your only going to get so much out of a Co2 tank and the size of a 16j air port is probably the max optimumization for it. I find 12.5 to 14.5 j is perfect, decent power fair amount of shots. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for tuning in!

Co2 only has so much psi pressure,750psi to 900psi (depending on temperature) so you can only get a rubber ball to maximize around 500 fps with a standard co2 tank. Also a barrel extension adds on an extra 40fps depending on length And if you decide to attach High Pressure air HPA to it, dont go above 1100psi and ALWAYS de-presdurize after each use. Even with Co2 it should be de-pressurized after each use. These things were designed to function the way they were built, you can only optimize them so much from original factory production state.
