In this video, I will show you how to install and wire up an AEM boost gauge and how to replace the MAP sensor on the turbo toaster helement. One of the best reasons to turbo a K-series engine is because they do not use any upstream airflow sensors. Instead, they use a MAP sensor (Manifold Air Pressure) to determine the correct mixture. This makes it easy when it comes time to add a turbo because you don't have to worry about having to add another component to the complex cold side. All you have to do is swap out the old MAP for a MAP capable of reading boost and you're good to go!
