good video. I went to my local car shop to let them investigate a leakage, what they did was to refill the coolant, bill me €120 and call it a day. 10 Days later, the whole coolant was gone again and they looked for the leak, found it in the condenser and billed me €80 again and said the replacement work will cost about €700. So I said fuck em, never going to get a cent from me again, will do it myself.

Thanks for the video! Only note is to get the horn working, I had to cut the horn contact plate a bit, and bend it so it actually made contact with the adapters grounding ring. May have been what happened with yours. It doesn’t line up exactly and doesn’t make good contact, hence no grounding so no horn. I made it slightly skinner and bent it slightly outwards. I also had to change the hump location to more of the 9 o clock position relative to the adapter, then it was able to make contact with the ring, and get horn sounds

Is it true a bad blower makes a resistor go bad? Need to replace both?
@TheMileHighMechanic

No, a bad blower will draw more amperage on the circuit and possibly pop a fuse before the resistor. All the resistor does is limit the power being sent to the motor.

Hello friend 👋... I have a 05 element morning start is ruff for like 4 seconds.. i replaced new spark plugs and coils and fuel injectors and throddle body plus new battery.. only thing im waiting on a hopeing could be my issue is the fuel pump.. what symtoms did you get before replacement?? My element have 200k Miles..
@TheMileHighMechanic
@TheMileHighMechanic Ай бұрын
My fuel pump was actually completely fine when I replaced it, I was putting a turbo on it, so I needed a higher flowing pump. However the general rule of thumb with the fuel pump is that I you can hear it prime when you turn the key, then it is working. If you cannot hear it prime then it is dead...if it is an intermittent problem it is likely not the fuel pump...also if it starts and runs, it is not the fuel pump.

You can also swap the speedo and tach to put the tach front and center, which is pretty nice for track use. If you're someone that enjoys that. @TheMileHighMechanic

It is a gt3582 turbo (62mm) if I believe. It doesn't really start to hit boost till around 3.5-4k so I would say around 1-2psi at 4k. It's a pretty big turbo, so it spikes very late, but when it hits, it hits.
