2007 - 2021 Toyota Tundra - Peragon Truck Bed Cover -- Toyota OEM Bed Rails / Deck Rail System

In addition, I demonstrate how you can make the Peragon Truck Bed Cover compatible with the OEM Bed Rails that are available for the Toyota Tundra. The bed rails are not required to install the bed cover, but it is always good to know that you can still utilize them if you want to.

Just got the cover delivered. Was looking at videos before installing and glad i found the hack with t slot. I was about to return in since i use the rails for tie down points often. I am surprised paragon doesn't include t slots, which makes more sense for clean installation.

I agree 😁👍. I think I know the reason, though. Peragon does include the T-Slots for the 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma because the bed rails come standard on ALL of them from the factory... However, with the Toyota Tundra, the oem bed rails were a "dealer installed" add-on accessory that didn't come standard from the factory. I'm glad that this video was helpful!

I gotta ask - I have a 2018 CM Tundra and have the Peragon cover (absolutely love it), but when I hit the AZ link above for those rails, AZ is telling me that they don't fit (aren't compatible). I would love to do the install as you have done, with the aftermarket rails vs the native Peraton brackets (looks much more sturdy, and functional). So my question is, what year is that Tundra in the video (it's a TSS Off Road version like mine, is why I'm asking). Thanks in advance!

So the Tundra in this video is a 2014 with a 66" bed (5 feet 6 inches) and the deck rails should be compatible for this bed length for the years 2007 - 2021. If you look up the part number outside of amazon, you should be able to verify that it is correct. I hope this info helps! 😁

I was wondering if you had any issues with the center bed rails and the Paragon cover?

I didn't have any issues with the Peragon Bed Cover clearing the back bed rail (underneath the rear windshield). Also, I didn't have any issues installing the bed cover onto the side bed rails either. You just have to purchase some t-slot nut fittings so that you can bolt the bed cover up to the bed rails (as opposed to using the clamp hardware that is provided with the bed cover). So far, everything is working normally with the bed cover, the bed rails, and the hardware. Everything is nice and secure 👍
