Good quality content again guys, loving the M3. The setup is a biiiit too raspy imho, but such an insane (and rare) car nonetheless.

Thanks man! It's actually very smooth down low and then spikes with the higher rpm. I do agree, there is definitely some rasp in it, but honestly, most of the setups we've seen online had roughly the same amount of rasp when running a catless x-pipe. It seems to be a common factor, at least at the volume level we are trying to achieve. We may look into a different rear section in the future, but for now, we have other mods on the way that will add to the sound 😏

Does your service engine light come on after installing the X-pipe?.

Yes a check engine light for emissions will pop up, but this can be removed with an aftermarket engine tune.

How is the smell from removing the factory cats on the oem x pipe? I'm considering this, but curious about the smell. Thanks!

The smell can be strong at times, mostly when the car is sitting at idle with the windows down. However, once you start moving it goes away and isn't anymore noticeable than stock.
