It would be really helpful if you would add hot links to your description for all the parts you described in your video. That would make it much more easier to order. Great video keep them coming.

Yes very good especially about the woodruff key as in motorcycle repair you have to be so careful that they don’t creep up as you’re installing the flywheel or whatever great advice

Hey Barry! Thanks for the video. Hey, I run a 2 axis Acu-Rite Sharp knee mill. The last two times a repair guy came out and replaced the broken clockspring, it never worked right. It has way too much snap back at the bottom of travel even though it has no snap back and actually drops at the top of travel. I have tried adjusting it but no position even comes close to working right. Of course, I just want it to be neutral and stay where I put it. I'm convinced the guy must be installing the wrong spring. Is that possible? Thanks for any help.

It sounds like whoever installed it did it incorrectly, it can do that if you don't have the quill in the correct position when installing it. The Sharp clockspring was always made to return position, if you want it to stay in place you would be happier with the Bridgeport spring. Bridgeport made theirs to stay in place when moved. I you get PN: 1112 and follow the video to install it you should be good. If you have any issues we are just a call away: 1-800-285-5271 machinerypartsdepot.com/product/clockspring-assembly-1112/
