I'm with you on the plastic clips... they're awful for any reuse. Even if you're careful they will need to be replaced to be worth a damn for holding anything on. I wish automakers would quit using them or revamp the design to be more reliable.

Rob sounds like your isolator is going bad. Cadillac had a extended warranty to cover this issue 10yr 120k. Take it to Cadillac and get a new supercharger installed for free.

Rob Dahm I had the same noise going on with my ctsv, and I took it in, and sure enough it was the isolator.

Rob Dahm have them replace the supercharger at Cadillac for free then when you get it back order a solid isolator and install that. boom done new solid isolator lsa supercharger for $70 bucks!

I do more highway miles than city. I do ~100mi/day. I installed a splitter that stuck out ~3" with 2 APR splitter rods. After a few days, I was coming off the highway and I could hear something was wrong. When I got home, about 1/5 of my splitter cracked off WITH THE ROD AND THE F* BUMPER GRILLE. Im assuming from the high speed and the length of the splitter, it cracked. Soooo watchett

It's not just GM, most newer cars have pretty crappy designs for bumpers. You can see it at any car meet: bumpers that have been on and off several times and they now fit like shit. Go to any Audi/Volkswagen meet and they're terrible alignment between bumpers and fenders.

Well when you're installing it on a glorified sedan... Yeah, it pains me to see too. People buying luxury commuter cars and trying to make them look fast just makes me laugh. The only sedan I would even consider calling "sporty" is the charger, and even that is a stretch.
