Great way to ensure protection of sensitive electronic equipment. Thermal welding is certainly different. Leads me to wonder if brazing is used in Thailand.

Is it sufficient only one conductor installed on top of big roof.how if lightning strike at the other side.not the side with the conductor?

I had no idea about any of this. That was very interesting! Thanks!

If a standing tower is behind the installation. Cant that the lighting arrestor if the towel gives a cover for the solar installations.

The arrestor cable is sheilded from the building how about the solar panel frame is it necessary to be earthed ?

What is the size of a down conductor?

Do you also have a separate electrode linked to the Earth bar in the distribution board?
@EcoHouseThailand Жыл бұрын
I have a separate ground rod for home electrics, another for my solar system and another for my solar thermal immersion heater.

@@EcoHouseThailand Did you also test the soil resistivity and external earth fault loop impedance?

did they bond the Lightning System to the Solar Grounding system? or it should be seperated?
@EcoHouseThailand2 жыл бұрын
The grounding for the lightning conductor is separate from the solar grounding and much more substantial
@TheStev082 жыл бұрын
@@EcoHouseThailand Thanks. It is good to know that it should be seperated. Is the AC and DC ground of the system is seperated also?

@@TheStev08 Yes

According to the NFPA780 the grounding systems should be bonded
@SgtJoeSmith Жыл бұрын
@@keegang7402 yeah i thought you bond anything metal, railing, pipes, solar panels, ac units on roof, lights, antenas, etc
