Installing a MASSIVE touch screen in my Toyota MR2

Welcome back Bluudies (Yes any subscriber to the channel is now called a Bluudie :)), I have been looking for a eto go in my MR2 and Biy have i found an amazing headunit! it can do so much and has a huge touch screen, same size I had installed in the Focus ST actually. Hope you enjoy the video.

So would you recommend this stereo? I’m looking for something to replace the stock head unit in my Alfa 147, that gives me access to the music on my iPhone and Apple Music, as well as letting me use it hands free for phone calls and sat nav, but also keeping the steering wheel controls.

Would like to see how you hooked up your unit to your speakers

I do have this in another video. The headunit is connected to an amp via rcas. The amp has its own dedicated wiring to the speakers. That was nit done for this headunit. This was the wiring set up in my mr2 prior to me getting it. If you have the right loom you can just connect straight into the stock wiring.

Looks good but defo a target for thief's though. Heat from the vents would be my concern. I would close the centre vents, or divert the blowers to the windscreen

Thats was my thought to, when the head unit cost nearly as much as the car lol

Thats an option, but at the moment its not cold enough to warrent heat from the vents. Depending on your car it may not be an issue either, guess it depends on vent location.

I know this is a while back but the wiring!!!! there has been some butchery gone on there....dont you just lovere previous owners, I do wish people who dont know waht they are doing leave things alone :-) ha ha, also why do people have to butcher Multi plugs Its easy enough to connect to single terminal I would have had to sort that wiring out :-) how has the unit performed 3 years on? regards

Im not clued up on the mk3. Does it take a double din headunit? If so there's a good chance it will.
