Installing A New CDI On The Kymco Agility 50. Will It Start?

I like your videos. I had two kymco agility myself. One with 30.000 kilometers and the other with 40.000 kilometers. They are very reliable and with proper maintanance they last a long time. Now i have an Aprilia sportcity 50cc, but my next one will be a kymco again. Always check your cvt belt in time and do regular oil change and you keep on driving without a problem 🙂

I like your scooter I used to have one it was a Chinese tao it had a big boy kit but it kept going break it down me I don't get it anymore 👍👍

I have a 2018 4 stroke kymco Agility 50. I know kymco is like hi end GY6 parts I think. Can we use just GY6 roller bosses and what is the best CDI for the unit, your experience. Mine only goes 28-29mph max stock . Thanx.

That's how mine was until I swapped out the roller boss. I got this roller boss from Amazon. It gave me about 8 to 10 mph of top speed. If you are lighter than me, it may give you more. They all should have one. It should be a red toggle switch on the right side of the handlebars.

Did you get it started after turning on the kill switch? I have the 2015 model. I’ve had it for 4 years now. I recently had to change the stator in mine. Other than that it’s been very reliable. It tops off at 38mph

Yes. It fired up almost immediately. Mine does 38 since I switched out the roller boss. It wouldn't go over 28 before. Unless you were going down hill.

Like a dummy, I forgot and left the kill switch in the off position. It fires right up now.

try checking the wire at the starter usually it slides off

when the scooter is cold, it needs to be started from the kickstarter, and only after that it can be started from the button. You tried to start it from the button and it looks like the candle was flooded with gasoline, I think that's why it won't start...

I'm a dummy. Lol! Kill switch! Not only is the new one good but the old one is too. This is more proof that I need to ride more often and hopefully I won't do rookie moves like this.

It was the right kind. I keep forgetting to flip the kill switch back. I need to just use the ignition to turn it off. Lol!

@VisitorE.T. It was a DC box but I left the kill switch on while I was trying to start it. As soon as I flipped the kill switch back, it started right up.

Where is the stator?

I'm assuming in the left side of the engine. I've never messed with it though. That's where they usually are on engines like these.
