Our main purpose for this design was to provide a front hitch, chain grab hook & tie down attachment for the 1025r style tractors that do not have loaders, or if you have your loader off at the time and in storage, you can bolt this attachment on very quickly to get your work done. But we wanted to make sure you could keep it installed when the loader was on and still use it when the loader was on.. If you are primarily wanting to use a front mounted 2" receiver and you have a loader, most people will opt to go with our bucket mounted workmaster plate, which is why its our #1 seller. Good you cleared this up. Some people seem to get upset about it with it mounted with the loader on. I don't ever take my loader off or haul it anywhere but if I did either I would be buying this product.

I bought one 4 months ago for my new Deere 2025r. While it doesn’t interfere with the loader when nothing is plugged into the 2” receiver tube, it sure does if you have a trailer ball mount plugged in. To use it for moving trailers around you need to remove the bucket, raise the loader arms, then plug the ball mount into the tube. Move your trailer, remove the ball mount, then lower the loader arms. If you forget and raise or lower the loader arms with a ball mount sticking out of the tube, you’ll damage the loader cross bar. That aside, it is a very well made item - heavy steel, excellent welds and paint. It adds easy to reach and secure tie down points for trailering. The chain hooks are plenty strong, and puts the force on the frame for heavy dragging with no danger of damaging the bucket by trying to pull to heavy a load for bucket mounted hooks to handle. I’m very happy with it.

Don't move trailers with your loader raised in the air. A recipe for disaster. This has many uses, but using it like that with the loader mounted is not one of them. This has many purposes including tie down points, chain hooks, and the receiver. The receiver could have a 2" winch mount installed in it as well. If your only purpose is moving trailers, there's better options. Well, unless you don't have a loader and want something up front.

If you have a loader on 99% of the time, what can you use the receiver tube for, without recipe for disaster potential? Not trying to be a wise ass, just asking. Seems very inconvenient to have to pull the loader off to make any use of the receiver tube.

@@MassholeMachinist Fork frame with receiver hitch is definitely better, but $200 for this versus $1,000+ for the fork frame. Using this requires you to lift the trailer tongue up on to the hitch ball, which may be a very heavy lift. With the fork frame, you can use the loader arms to do the lifting.

Doesn't sound like it's the product for you...or if you want a good tie down point on the front of your tractor that has other features built in in case you need them...just because a product exists, doesn't mean it's for every single person out there. There's different use cases for different folks. Good to have options.

I bolted a Heavy Hitch 2" hitch in that spot in the front and also have a HH 6 suitcase weight bracket (40 or 70#) to fit that (without the FEL). I can move the same unit to the rear HH hanger for even more rear weight. Many ways to skin a cat.

4 Suitcase weights work on the front of a 2025r as well although mine drop in awkwardly. Works with the loader on

I've got a winch mounted to a drawbar that would slide into that and Quick connect to my battery with the remote on a 12 foot cord. I park the tractor and stretch fence with the winch on my kioti. Mine on the bucket. But this would be great. And a good tie down point too with a shackle in it.

I like to hang suicase weights there so ill stick with my bucket mounted design. But distressingly, you just happened to mention that if you have a 511 design grill guard, there is no lorger room to hang the weights on the frame. I was itching for a 511 guard - now I'm thinking a custom fab will be required. Thanks for the info,

I do believe at one point, 511 considered a modified guard to fit suitcase weights. Not sure if that concept went anywhere or not.

Why would you have the chain hooks on the loader facing out? That doesn’t really make any sense to me.

Not sure where you're referencing that...but some folks like to wrap chains around the bucket for extra strength when pulling. Different strokes for different folks.

@@GoodWorksTractors I meant on the hooks on the pallet forks. I’m not saying that you can’t utilize them in the direction they’re in,…but you’d have to run your chains from underneath the pallet fork frame. Seems to me that they would be better the other way around,…that way you’re always hooking and pulling/lifting from the front. The ones on the bucket are fine, it’s the ones on the pallet forks.

I'd rather have a winch mounted to that, than it on the loader. I use My SSQA plate with a receiver for Trailer moving. or the 3 point Trailer mover.
