I've had 6 manual cars, 5 auto cars, 3 manual bikes, 3 manual 4x4s driving very remote Oz - they are all good. Auto is better in peak hour traffic, pulling a heavy trailer across a slippery paddock on a hillside, taming my 800hp FG XR6T.

Finally some thing positive about American companies from your opinion. 🦅🇺🇸
@TheBrokenLife5 жыл бұрын
I can't fault him too much. The shipping to Australia is so expensive that it's probable that they don't have as much experience with our parts suppliers as they do their own. So, when you only remember the bad things (like most humans) and you don't have that huge of a pool of experience to draw from, there's bound to be more bad than good that will come to mind. In contrast, I can't think of a single thing I own that I know for sure was made in Australia. So... If I bought one thing, and it was crap, I'd could end up with an exaggeratedly negative opinion.

My F350 got a shift kit when it got a high torque rebuild, shifts fast and hard. Great for when under load, makes those that don't understand the mod think something is wrong. Modified diesel so don't really want the transmission eating itself in the name of being smooth.
