You guys should make the brackets with a latch cutout so the shelf can sit on while you put it on before tightening the bolt. This simple design not only make the install so much easier but also make removing more convenient as well, especially for people like me who puts them on when we go away but remove them after the trip. But really what a great product, I love mine. If you happen to make new set of brackets with cut out latch, I'd be interested to buy the brackets.
