This is Jim mungai again I agree they’re excellent steering boxes outstanding but like I said when mine started leaking about two weeks after warranty they wouldn’t help me I just got a toilet like it is when they put those boxes together though they size the internals so it’s nice and tight anyway I’ll still get their products in the future

I recommend bleading the box before connecting the draglink to the pitman arm ( or arm to box if you went that way). This will allow the box to hit it's stop's instead of the stops on the axle/ lower control arm (2wd) preventing the box from stoping first making bleading difficult at best..

Make sure to recheck the bolts on your box after awhile, I changed my box and had all the bolts as tight as I could get them and after 200 miles or so I noticed the slop was back and it turned out it was the whole box moving because the bolts had worked themselves lose enough, scary stuff. That box is bad ass though I went with a remanned one but luckily had good luck, I wish I had hydro ports though for in the future

I installed a redhead steering gear on my truck to know it’s still a tight steering box it still works good but it was approximately now this is about 10 years ago maybe 12 years ago something like that it started leaking about two weeks out of warranty and I asked him if they could help me and I said nope can’t help you now they do good quality work they put together a good box and to be fair the steering box I have is a 92 excuse me 91.5 dodge and they are notorious for the steering column goes in for leaking I’m not trying to beat up on those guys too much but two weeks out of warranty you can fucking help a guy It’s a six and a row jim from Kennerdell Pennsylvania
