Your delivery driver is really setting new trends there - that tiny high-vis jacket with 'Daddy's Little Helper' written on the back should become compulsory (along with the slippers) amongst all delivery drivers - especially the grumpy ones :)

I have a front and rear Netatmo presence light and camera, the non subscriber model works for me. I did have an issue about 18 months in with one of them but customer service did a fast replacement 👍🏼. Been wondering about the doorbell, but would have to wire in as no wires neat 😔, soon maybe thanks for the vid.

Nice review, is there much of a delay between the door bell being pressed and the notification on your phone? My ring doorbell used to be up to 14 seconds. It's about 2 or 3 seconds now after it was replaced when the lens got foggy

Agree... 350 on Tims favourite Amazon... wonder how many would feel happy with this chunk of change sat on their door frame waiting for any old Tom, Dick or Harriet to stroll past and either smack it one or try to pinch it (and as for it's security screw.. driver bits are readily available anywhere) ... but then again if simply given one to use... who wouldn't eh? BTW... yes it may capture video images but a simple facemask and baseball cap is now a prerequisite of most tealeafs so identifying them is no longer straightforward plus with the SD card being inside the unit ...that renders that useless too. Nice idea but way too dear 🤔

@@paulj1932 Eufy seem to have a lot of issues with their systems failing and as such taking out the operation of their products... so perhaps not the great alternative you suggest eh? Just Google it...🙄

I absolutely love netatmo products I have lots installed in my house including the smoke detectors heating controller and few cameras all great products that work brilliantly, unfortunately I found this product was terrible , I used a variety of smart doorbells ring / hikvision / EZVIZ but this one was the worst of the bunch the tech support was really slow I actually set it back and got a refund. I’m hoping they have sorted out there issues & software bugs. Great looking but of kit. Hopefully you don’t have troubles with your one.

Someone could smash the thing of the wall and take your SD card. Ring doorbells are much better in this regard. And don’t need to be wired in. Ring is £2.50 a month. Not expensive. And way cheaper to buy.

Robert Dyas seem to be selling, somewhat more expensive than Ring but then in the long run you will save on not having to pay subscription. Wish I had seen this review before purchasing Ring. Notifications from Ring are very intermittent.

As someone who has spent some time delivering, I can tell you that your delivery driver doesn’t have time to hang around, waiting for you to notice your phone, get it out of your pocket, unlock it and then listen to you issuing instructions on where to leave the parcel with audio breaking up, struggling to make out what the hell you’re saying over the noise of the passing traffic. I only made the mistake a couple of times before refusing to use these things. You get a knock on your door and your parcel left in a wheely bin like everyone else. 🙄

A knock on your door you say? Chance would be a fine thing! Half the time couriers just dump and run. OIC, you do that as well, eh?! Still, I suppose people should be grateful that you leave it in the wheely bin rather than in plain sight on the doorstep as usually happens around here. At least then there might be a chance of retrieving the parcel... if it's not rubbish collection day... and if one disciplines oneself to look in the bl**dy bin twice a day!

It won’t be long before you will have to wait for instructions as where to put it with the increase in thefts/disappearing items and delivery instructions ie wait for door bell to acknowledge/place in safe place you won’t be able to drop and run

I hardly think the odd sponsored video here and there is “losing its integrity” Many more “mainstream” channels are gone much worse. It says sponsored video right at the start, if that’s not your thing you can always skip them.
