How deep are your ribs? mine are 1.5" deep having a hard time finding the right foam to make up 1.5" I like the build I am going to borrow your design

Enioyed your video. In the future you may want to purchase a sheet of aluminum sheet and fasten to the ribs for your flooring. You only will need an outside edge to fasten too. Just trying to help you out and cut you time and money down. I am subscribeing to your channel. Well done.

You may not have a problem with weight but for info, a sheet of 1/4 inch plywood is about 22 lbs while a sheet of 1/8 aluminum is about 65 lbs (3x). Therefore, if your ever in the area where weight is an issue then you could go plywood instead. Depending on the build of course. Well done.

2 things. 1. wood eventually rots. 2. he did the wood thing on his Tracker, and said the next he was going to go all aluminum no wood except for transom

@@barrychandler4486 True wood has that problem but for me I used marine plywood with primer and two coats of marine paint on all Sides and topped that with vinyl rap on the top, I think I will get a ton of years out of it. But thanks for your points.

@@darrylb4048 I myself used plywood and sealed it with fiberglass.But it too will rot.

@@barrychandler4486 Sounds like we have both owned boats but with different experiences. perhaps its all in the design and structure of how it is placed and used. mine is always high and dry. Ciao.
