The “sensor” that was next to the turbo muffler is just a connector. There are 2 bolts holding it in.

just make sure the timing chain and tensioner has been done before doing mods... and the same goes if it is a DSG, fresh trans oil. If going stage 2, dsg tune is a must or will burn the clutch pads.

With leaving the stock intercooler installed did you consider getting the extra piping and running both the stock and front mount for a twinnercooler?

I’m looking at upgrading my innercooler too. Is there a benefit to the front mounted like you did vs removing and replacing the OEM cooler with a larger one? Just ease of installation or is it better?

Hey man I installed this in my car and I have a cat back exhaust and knn air filter system but I haven’t got tune but when I installed it feel slow on the throttle and a “EPC” light came on the and my turbo is not working it’s not spooling up and not boost is being made. Any advice ?

I think so? Lol I installed so many things at the Sametime, I don't know what mod made it louder. It's a lot louder now though.

How long did it take to install the intercooler?

I was installing alot of new parts at the same time, so its kind of hard to tell. But I'd say someone could do it in about 3-4hrs

Noticed you're in Oregon, were in the process of buying a used MK6 GTI, and will be moving to Medford, Oregon in the next year. is everything you have on your car able to pass smog? I know MOST of Oregon has smog except for Roseberg and a few other places. any info is appreciated

Mine would not pass smog because of the catless downpipe. But when I have to go through smog, I just swap back to stock downpipe to pass.

Yea same. Until I trimmed up the bumper to fit better. After trimming it, it fit easily.

Works ok. I havent noticed a huge difference good or bad. Does it's job but I wouldn't say it's significant compared to stock
