Welcome to the Speeduino family, I'm waiting on the Teensy adapter board so I can run 600mhz for closed loop on my fully built Honda D16 turbo build.

Do you know how fuel injector timing work? What sensor or trigger does it use to know when to pump a fuel?

i am guessing that the requirement for two full revolutions prior to starting is there to allow the engine to determine which rev actually fired fuel, then, it only fires fuel on that rev, which begs the question, if ti can determine that based on the crank speeding up, then why does it need to waste the spark, since it clearly knows which rev to inject fuel. Or maybe I just dont get it.

You may wish to mount your CPS to the engine structure to avoid issues with varying air gap to the trigger wheel. Take care with reducing the output of what appears to be Hall effect CPS. The output voltage is normally a few volts above the old TTL threshold of 5V, specifically to avoid noise issues. If you clip this to precisely 5V you may become susceptible to false triggers. It depends on how clever the front end of the Speeduino is at avoiding such a problem… and I have no direct experience of this ECU. Ultimately though, what’s your objective? Oh, and buy some tools! An angle grinder is definitely not the way to make a keyway!! A few minutes with file is all you need…

Thanks for your positive feedback! My end goal is to run the engine using the ECU, starting with the ignition (currently waiting for the ignition COP and timing light). Once that is done, my plan is to install the temp sensors, TPS, MAP sensor, maybe even an O2 sensor on the exhaust, and 3D print an intake manifold (using a heat resistant material) in order to be able to install an injector and a throttle body. This whole project is just for learning purposes, I am not trying to reinvent nothing here. And finally, how much an angle grinder is worth in your country? Tools/materials are quite expensive in Spain.
