Merry Christmas MR. Economy trans them are good motors for big boys like me and you take it for a test drive I like them have 2 myself 40 tooth sprocket on 1 and 36 tooth sprocket on the other takes me up to 35 and I weigh 250lbs not bad huh. You might recommend 1 of them sprockets these engines are jerky while Riding heard through the grapevine it's the way the yd100 has a advanced timing idk myself just know little smaller sprocket helps nice motor for hilly area's just got to keep the power in check around the police cause as you said before they are illegal in most States unless it's A 49CC again Merry Christmas and happy new year keep them informative videos coming

MR. Econo what better brakes do you sudjust I'm using 70 mm mountain bike pads eats them up to what would be a good breaking system disk?
@EcoTransGaspoweredBikes2 жыл бұрын
Actually your brake system it's self is fine, what the problem is..is that the pads they sell aren't real durable when on a motorized bike beings they are really intended to still be on a bicycle..What we used to do for a much tougher brake pad was : buy a set of pads for a small car or motorcycle & cut & shape them like the original pads for the bike & then they will last for a long time..👍🚴♂️ I don't know if that's still do able today beings they don't seem to rivet the pads to the backing plate like they used to, everything seems to be glued these days so I don't know if you could get the pad it's self-off of the backing plate..🤷♂️

But where's the drink holder? ha ha I removed my fenders for safety reasons, changed out the kickstand, added a luggage rack, and had to change out my brake pads after a few months of riding.

Do you think some big baskets can be put on the back of that kind of bike?
@EcoTransGaspoweredBikes8 ай бұрын
Sure, I don't see why not. 🤷♂You might have to do a modification here & there, but it should be doable. I use panier bags myself, they are waterproof & zip up so I don't lose anything on rough roads.

You should have also welded the chain tensioner bracket to the frame because if you don't it will destroy your rear wheel if you don't understand look up videos on it it's dangerous unless you weld it or bolt it with a bolt through the frame
@EcoTransGaspoweredBikes Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip 👍 I personally drill & put a steel pin through the bracket & frame, if I weld it then in the future the person can't remove it themselves without a grinder & they might even damage the frame in the process. If I remember this particular bike correctly the customer just wanted the engine installed on the frame & said he would take care of the rest. I always make those friendly safety suggestions to people but if all they want is what they ask for & tell you just to do the one thing then those friendly safety suggestion are their reasonability when they take it home. 🤷♂🚴♂

I'll try to remember to do a video on that..👍 I used one of my engine stands & made a clamp for the frame.

Why not show how to start it? I don't see a kick start or pull handle.
@EcoTransGaspoweredBikes9 ай бұрын
Here is a full video on how to start & operate one of the 2-cycle bikes.. I hope this answers all or most of the questions you may have about the 2 stroke motorized bicycles. With this example you are the starter, but with the 4-stroke set up you can just pull the rope to start is just like a lawn mower.. Hopefully this at least gives you some kind of idea about them.. 🚴♂🚴♂
