Can you please verify that this new head unit can be controlled by the Helix g4n? I am planning on purchasing and running off the Humminbird controls without getting the new remote. Haven't been able to verify this will work.

Do you have to install the Bluetooth Heading Sensor (1866680)? I have a 2014 Terrova Control board went out. I have a 2774176 BT head was going to purchase Minn Kota Control Board - Terrova/Riptide - 24/36V - BT - NON I-PILOT - 2774066 Buddy had the head and gave it to me. Will this work and do I have to have the Heading sensor?
