In this video, I will demonstrate the process of installing the Amazon Snowblade on my Troy Built tractor. I want to mention beforehand that the instructions provided with the Snowblade were not very helpful, so I had to figure it out myself. I hope this video can serve as a step-by-step guide for those who might encounter similar difficulties.
First, I unpacked the Snowblade and laid out all the components to get a better understanding of what I was working with. It consisted of the blade itself, a mounting bracket, and various nuts, bolts, and washers.
Next, I positioned the mounting bracket on the front of my Troy Built tractor. I noticed that the holes on the bracket aligned with pre-existing holes on the tractor's frame, indicating that this was where the Snowblade should be attached.
Using the provided bolts, nuts, and washers, I secured the mounting bracket firmly onto the tractor's frame. It was crucial to ensure that the bracket was tightly fastened, as this would provide stability for the Snowblade during use.
Once the bracket was securely attached, I positioned the Snowblade onto the bracket, aligning the holes on the blade with those on the bracket. This part required some trial and error, as the instructions did not provide clear guidance on the exact positioning.
With the Snowblade in place, I inserted the bolts through the aligned holes and secured them with the corresponding nuts and washers. I made sure to tighten them adequately to ensure a secure attachment.
After double-checking all the connections, I tested the Snowblade's range of motion to ensure that it was functioning properly. I adjusted the angle of the blade using the adjustment lever, and also made sure it could be raised and lowered smoothly.
Although the instructions provided with the Amazon Snowblade were not helpful during the installation process, I was able to successfully attach it to my Troy Built tractor by following these steps. I hope this video serves as a useful guide for anyone facing similar challenges.
I will let you know how it works when we get some snow!
