I’d have put the nut/bolts the other way around. Then the nut and thread is protected from road crud by the flange. In the rainy Uk the original setup rots the nuts in the factory set-up and they have to be ground off! Cheers, Nice car.

installed this the other day. a little quieter than I was expecting but it has the best tone of any Miata muffler IMO. there are louder mufflers if you want your car to really scream but this is a good muffler for only a tiny bit louder than stock but much better sounding noise. saving up for a midpipe next because I've heard it should improve the sound (also thinking of getting a cutout just so I can open it up when I hop on the highway or something)

The gasket was installed on a aftermarket mid pipe which is flush compared to stock

Nice looking NC, really like the color of it. The new exhaust is certainly alot better then stcok. Did you try it with the baffles removed? I took mine out of Goodwin exhaust my have on my ND an I really liked it better. Not so much louder but more throaty.

I have the exact same exhaust but tucked in my tips a bit. I like the sound and it doesn’t have that drone noise on highway cruises. I threw the baffles into my scrap bin. 😂
