Will the force of pushing this against the presser foot not harm the presser foot rod going up into the machine after a period of time, I was just curious about that didn't know if you knew or not? I have one of these but was scared to use it thinking it might harm my machine. I guess they wouldn't have put these out if that was the case but was just wondering your thoughts. Thank you

Good point and one that I considered, which I why I 'squeeze' the needle bar and the Quick Change Clamp to counteract the force if I just pushed on the Clamp.
