Installing B&W Tow & Stow Truck Trailer Hitch and adding Receiver Pin Locks

I'm installing a 2.5 inch receiver, tri-ball Tow & Stow hitch with a 8.5 inch drop. B&W also has dual ball and 2 inch receiver models with varying drop lengths. Pay close attention to the one you're ordering so you don't have to order 3 of them before you get the one you wanted.

it's a lot easier to rotate the ball assembly AFTER your hitch is mounted

Is your truck lifted? Trying to decide if 7 in would work with my stock F350

The Dodge 3500 is not lifted, but it is a 4 wheel drive, which makes it set a little higher. My recommendation is to measure the height of your trailer receiver, and then measure the height of your hitch and subtract the difference to get the right height adjustment.

@@PirateStu my receiver is 22 1/2 so I think 7 will work. Still should leave plenty of clearance to the ground at lowest setting. Thanks for the response to my question

Yea just go with a 7 in cause I’m thinking about selling my car and buy a ram 1500 or ford f150 cause I need a truck to tow and for fishing and I’m also planning on buying a boat or enclosed trailer or utility trailer
