This guy is a magician. Always comes out with the video you needed the day after you finish the job. Shits too calculated. He's watching every one of us. What a legend.

I very amateur DIY fixed some cupboard doors last year. Spent ages trying to find the right hinge and ended up with ones like yours. Also had to chisel out the edge because for some reason they didn't make them round. Also had ti fill in the holes from the old ones. It doesn't look right but, works better than before!

Perfect timing, I'm making the doors for a corner unit right now. I wasn't sure what to do with hinges and this helped so much.

It's nice being able to see a video using the exact hinges I'll be using. Thanks edit: BTW I have the same Kreg jig for drilling the hinge holes. What I did was try to measure the distance from the edge guide of the jig to where the center of the hole would be (the drill center), since the guidelines on the jig are configured from the edge of the door which is kind of useless for this part of the operation. I made a 7/16" spacer (best guess) to put between the jig and the edge of the door. Thanks for the tip about using a test piece, because I actually needed to set the Kreg jig on "5" to put the hole in the right place.

You wouldn't believe just how timely these last few videos you made are to me... I made the decision to change my cab doors a day before your first vid was posted. Thank you so much ))

Sometimes I’ll use a 1-2mm chamfer router bit to go over the back edges where makes a 90°, to help “close” etc….. Might not be necessary at at all, but on older homes (even new) it can help when opening…. (Same thing when doing a frameless closet door (or concealed door) in a home & using Sugatsune or Soss hinges; can help if running into closing/opening clearance troubles

Hi from Montreal. Very instructive video and Channel. I am replacing my cabinet door and one of them is a corner door. I have a question, Do the Hinges have a special installation position? I am asking becouse in my old coner door all driled holes for the hinges are in one (firsst) door; however in the new one each dor has them drill holes. I have the correct hinges; however, they have an special direction to be installed?

Great tips as usual! I'm building a closet and want to use the Ikea's Hovet mirror for the door. What hinges should i use?

Hey I just saw per USG manufacturer instructions there should be a slight gap between butt joints in drywall, cut and prefilled. They should not be touching. I know you've gone over this a lot but this is the first I've seen per manufacturers instructions. What are your thoughts on this?

For this corner bi-fold door - is there a rule where the cabinet hinge should go - smaller or bigger portion of the bi-fold door ?

I have pocket hindges on my vanity mirror and the mirror is rubbing against the bottom. I don't know how to fix it. I think the mirror has to move a few mm up but I don't see a screw that moves it up.

I just wanna' say bummer, sounds like the mic cord or connection was worn/bad, nothing worse than shooting a whole bunch and finding crap audio later, so disheartening, kudos for patching it up and turning it around! :-)
