He doesn’t know what he’s doing. I’ve been a high end pro custom cabinetry maker for 27 years. Gary is a “carpenter” and doesn’t have the skill set i do.

After watching a few videos on KZbin and failing a couple times I was just about to call a trim guy to put up my molding, until I watched this video series. So informative and with good notes and a little bit of sweat my kitchen molding looks awesome! Thanks for the videos

The funny part is explaining these skills to an apprentice. Not to mention my favorite jobs, jumping in behind the DIY crowd. I love a challenge, nothing more challenging then silk purses from sows ears. Its like Copperfield making a jumbo jet dissapear.

Most can be flipped based on the height that it will be off the ground. Though some types like the one he is using are more suited for double or triple crown. There are about 5-6 different types of crown and they all have a different orientation.

If I handed a picture to the cut guy he would laugh at me. Unless it's a real real complicated piece then I would but this is only two sided code is the standard on every crew including mine. Drawing just a waste of time.
