My first attempt to 8hp swap my 2Jz
In this video we Fabricated a Transmission mount & installed our DCT 390GTE Carbon Sequential Electric Shifter.

Modifying Mercs is hard literaly zero aftermarket parts compared to other brands, most simple stuff needs to be custom made

Dude, where did you get the Valve covers from?? You don't reply to any of your SM maybe you'll reply here?? P.S you should try the Jinx shifter, got it on my swap, shits way better than the DCT shifter!

Jinx are Nice and DOUBLE THE price but you get what you pay for 😂They are dope looks better too.

@@qwazardinero2699 Yeah, they are a bit over priced, I agree, but every time I get in my bimmer I stare at that Jinx shifter, there's a YTber I'm talking to that might develop a custom TurboLamnik selector and oled shifter knob display, but the wait is real, my fingers are crossed as fk for this....

why would you solid mount an engine and gearbox ? with the vibrant couplers you have you easily can put nice bushings for the engine and gearbox.

@@sLothiC it’s not my daily it’s for track use , I’m making it solid & I’m not ever gonna service rubber bushings or having small failures

Ive heard there is potential risk to using solid mounts on the engine and gear box. The chassis will flex a certain amount and can potentially crack an aluminum transmission case. Not sure how true this is

@@scottkelley883 car is fully caged & is very stiff & has been reinforced there will be no movement if there is then the chassis has been damaged. Not worried about it that’s why I delete the bushings.

Yo @dawillkid Help a brother out! I need an ID on that front lip on the SL. I have a special bumper and it needs a flat lip like that.
