Great work! I'd love some more info on the railings. Brand, where to buy, how to install? Are they custom orders for each installation, or modifiable on-site? Obviously you have to plan ahead to install them to have the blocking where it's needed. Again, awesome job!

Looks fantastic. In the future if you ever do receptecles under an outdoor bar you should use just the basic outdoor flap covers. Those bubble covers are designed for in use and on the side of a wall. Under a bar they are mostly just going to be used to charge a phone or maybe plug in a radio not have an extension cord permanently plugged durinf rain and snow. They just look ugly and draw your eye away from all the other beautiful work in my opinion.

Id like to use some trex 5 1/2 wide decking at the front porch. Unfortunately my tread depth is 11 5/8 and the fascia will be the same 1" board plus a 1/2" overhang coming to 13 1/8. My rise is 5 13/16. 2 boards plus the 1/4 inch spacing and a 1/2 overhang come to 11 1/4 leaving me with about a 1 3/8 sliver after 2 more 1/4 gaps. Im wondering if I can install one full row and rip cut two additional rows of equal spacing for a better look ?. What do you think is best?

Great work! Awesome. I have been following your deck building videos for past year. I am in process of rebuilding my deck using Deckorator Voyage decks, ALX contemporary railings/post with cocktail rails (thanks for the idea). I have a few questions here 1.) Are the posts of same height for level railing and stairs? 2.) did you cut the posts' so that the cocktail rails fits flat and without post caps? What's the preferable distance between the two deck board railing connectors used for cocktail rails? Thanks.
@THEpremieroutdoor

@@THEpremieroutdoor Thanks for your guidance. I am starting my deck work this week but still having trouble to get ALX contemporary rails. Can you recommend local NJ vendor to purchase the ALX contemporary rails. Lowes does not sell the welded ones. And other online sites are charging a very high price(almost 40%) for shipping $2K worth of rails. Thanks.

Like the new aluminum railing and lights. I'm planning a deck and want the black aluminum railing. We're going to use IPE, Tigerwood, or Carm....(forgot the spelling on this) Would like the sourcing list for items. Maybe you can begin adding that to the text on these videos. If not source, then a manufacturer name, product name and we can search. Thanks for taking the time to show what you're doing.
