Yeah that's all well and good but the hack left the label on the end of the board! That's just bad form

That looks like treated lumber, so I would say he's wasting his time.

If your concerned about water you should have flipped the board over because of the grain pattern ,when that board drys out it will have a tendency to cup and hold water on top of it.Its actually called a “Crown” so if you flipped it the water would run off of the “Crown “

Absolutely nothing wrong with how it looked before. For a few $1000 could’ve updated the existing landscaping. This is way too over the top and way too much $$$$. Of course this is the builder’s favourite… 👎

I don't understand, they spray a water repellent on the ends of the wood, but then you see a worker beating a wood plank down in the groove defacing the wood surface! 😅😮🙃

Gotta put a continuous bead of silly cone on the overlap or it WILL wick up and leak. pull the bottom wrap off and apply the bead on the ground; drag it up there upside-down to not scratch the bottom. Flip it over in place.

Smart enough to cut the piece yet not smart enough for a fine tip marker. Also that piece could have been screwed to last piece laid so no face screw required. Keep practicing you'll get there
