Good job bro you got it done quick just a Lil tip efans on are trucks are problematic so what I do I run a toggle switch inside for high fans so if all fails I'll hit the switch anyway good to see the upgraded efans

@@gavinsixnine yes my tuner did it before the install so thats why mine worked from the jump, but if you don’t want to do that toggle switches definitely work as well 👌

Your ground wire is too thin. Each fan is ~80W, which is ~7 amps. That's 14 amps. Too much for 12 gauge. Need 10 gauge.

Good video bro! Just what I needed. I have efans already it’s just whoever did it before me did a shitty job and made it run off the fuse burner which is bad. This helped me. Getting mines done now

I took it to a tuner, any tuner that does LS engines should be able to do it for you bro!

My AC actually never worked I have to fix it lol but it should be fine haven’t heard of this affecting the ac but yes pin 33 was replaced just push it to the side not needed!

doing this mod Saturday! for the pin 33 I got the same relays as you did, so should I remove the green pin that's already in the ecu and replace it with the one it came with? what does the old pin33 even do?

The green pin that goes to pin 33, if I remember correctly was for AC hvac door control or AC clutch. But yes I just removed it and put my fan plug in. I most likely won’t use AC anyway. I’m Not sure if you can tap into it to retain them both. I’ve heard other things for a work around but can’t remember off the top of my head.

Im seeing the comments and you said that you already had the truck tuned prior to installing the efans. Will tuning it before actually installing them affect your driving?

No it will not affect the driving, my tuner just tuned the parameters in prior to me installing them so they turn on with temperature once the thermostat opens up and they kick on it’s all it is.

Damn bro that sucks, yeah could be I think I heard of some doing that. The fans put out a lot of load so the wire gauge it comes with might not be up to the task.I got mine from eBay I think and it’s still doing fine with no issues so far.

No, it has 2 tabs that’s slide into the radiator at the bottom and that what holds it in. And bolts up at the top.

Hey bro. Doing this upgrade on my 03 yukon but the issue is my yukon passes smog simce im in California once i get tunes just for fans only would i still be able to pass my emissions test or no im tuning just for fans please let me know

Yeah bro I’m pretty sure you’ll be fine, all the tune is doing is adding the feature of kicking your fans on like if it was factory, like the models that came with it. Its not emissions related, but you can also do it other ways without a tune like just running your own switch and turning them on yourself, or you can get a wiring kit that comes with a temperature switch and install it in your radiator and it will kick them on with temperature and no tune needed. The tune is nice because it’s like OEM.

Sorry I think I read it wrong, yeah the difference in the 34 radiators is the coolers one with just a trans cooler and another with a trans and engine cooler I think either one works.

​@@nolimitroy1983when i was first upgrading my radiator for efan swap i noticed that there where 2 options. One that had a trans cooler and a engine oil cooler and the other option just had the trans cooler. One way to tell if you need the one with the engine oil cooler is to check if you have a cooler line from your oil pan to the radiator. You can check to see if you have a cooler line on the driver side of your oil pan

The function for kicking on the fans needs to be flashed into the computer to have them function like oem. But you can still do it without going this route and doing other options.
