To everyone that is out there and is struggling to find one of these extended screw. i did my research and i found out that the vm22 carb and the vm26 carb both have the same size hole and thread size for the Air mixture screw so the ones on ebay that state there for a vm26 carb will fit in your vm22 carb. to be honest those these mkuni carbs are cheap and fake your better off buying a genuine mikuni Carb

Okay so my pz30 on my hawk 250 had the mixture screw turned way out and it wouldn't run without choke. So I turned it in so it was only like 1 and a half out instead of 2 and a quarter. It will run without choke now so that tells me in is more of a rich mixture.
@leecasteel92114 жыл бұрын
I got a pz27. so your saying tighting the screw makes it richer? And loosening it makes it leaner?
@grayghost8324 жыл бұрын
@@leecasteel9211 yes loosening it opens it up more inside and allows more fuel to pass through. Also if it starts popping bad you know it's too lean.
@leecasteel92114 жыл бұрын
@@grayghost832 oh okay thanks yeah my problem is when i try to snap the throttle from idle to wide open it bogs down and if i just hold it it'll die..but if i kinda just roll the throttle smooth it's perfect..my guess would be its too lean might have to get a bigger slow jet i tried adjusting that screw and it didn't do much.
@grayghost8324 жыл бұрын
@@leecasteel9211 Yeah that might be your issue. There's the main jet and the pilot jet or whatever they call it and I just got some cheap ones off eBay. It will do some funky stuff if like that if it's not quite getting enough fuel at lower rpms.
