How can you add a hanger bar to the sloped wall?

This is really a great tip, I was wondering exactly how to make custom shelves in an alcove with sloped ceiling. Perfect solution in this video. However, also wondering how you attached the two lower shelves against the straight wall, without any visible support? See 8:54. I guess there are supporting pieces below somewhere?

What if someone wanted the shelves installed on the slanted wall itself and not just one end? Like for A frame walls. How could that be done?
@GosforthHandyman7 жыл бұрын
Anyone else got any good ideas on this? I'd say depends how much weight you want them but you'd ideally need something to support the ends. If that's not an option you can get special shelf brackets for angled walls but I'd still line that part of the wall / ceiling with wood to give a better fixing for the brackets.

Coffee with the Tip Library... perfect way to start my Saturday. Congratulations on 2K ! I suppose if you wanted an industrial-ish look you could hang them from the ceiling with cables, and secure along the sides. Nah... that would be crap... nevermind...

You might have done so already - not caught up yet, but please do a build video for YOUR router table. I know there are plenty out there but your spin on it would be good to see.

I did a guided tour of it for my Xmas day vid (2017) 👍😀

Gosforth Handyman I saw that. It looked good and made me want the build video too. Enjoy your work - was recommended by Peter Millard. Both so easy to watch.

Congratulations on 2000 subs! Will be interested in the router table. What router are you using?
@GosforthHandyman7 жыл бұрын
Cheers Steve! I'm using a Triton TRB001 beast - it has a really good in-built lift mechanism so I don't need a dedicated router lift, which is nice. 😃

No mate, thank you and all the other makers who share their skill and knowlege. Without you, youtube would be just weirdos and their even weirder cats and dogs wearing human clothes. And grumpy cat.

Cheers buddy. I hope KZbin sort their act out 'cause at the moment it's hard to get traction unless you're posting vids of grumpy cats. 😆👍
