I just installed 285/75/16’s on my 2011 Suzuki Equator. Stock suspension. No lift. They fit !! Spare too !! I used a set of factory steel wheels. They tuck in deep inside the wheel wells. No rubbing. Hallelujah 🙌

Great video Brother. Your Frontier looks awesome on 285's! The trim and melt was well done. This job is in my near future, good to see how someone has done it. Thanks.

No problem just take your time it’s really easy to do. The thick welding gloves work great to shape the plastic and hold it til it cools down and stays how you want it.

How much lift do you have on your Frontier I’m wanting to go with the 285/75/16 tires also?

@@gregadkins-bh4rv mine is now Titan swapped and roughly 3.5” to 4” of lift now. Before I had 2.5”

Thanks for the vid- do you have a lift installed also? If so how tall to accommodate the 285s?

I have a Rough Country 2.5” lift on my truck , I’m also in a group for Nissan Frontiers and a member had a stock height frontier running 285’s by doing this trim.

I notice you have a different front bumper. If I have a stock front bumper will there be any rubbing up there?

I don’t think so I’ve seen plenty of Frontiers running 285’s with factory bumpers.

what pressure are you running?

I run 32 psi mostly. My new tires the x3 grabbers wear and ride great at that psi in my opinion
