Excellent, doing the same kit on my son’s 86 Volvo station wagon. Found an already narrowed Explorer rear end locally and just need to do the brackets.

Don't feel bad, EVERYONE calls him Griffin. He's too nice to correct people. I've probably corrected 5 people on the forums. Haha

Happy to be corrected, don't like mispronouncing names. Thanks.

What's bad is that they're us a Griffin's too, allot of people use their radiators.

I was wondering what happened to a21, I myself went from bass to speed. Having a walled blazer (last bass ride) to a foxbody.

Keep that Volvo hard brake line and use it on the 8.8 rear.

Could of done the ford 9" ends, i think that eliminates the c clips right? What filler rod did you use for welding the axle tubes to the housing?
@BlaserBuilds7 ай бұрын
Correct. My buddy Brian with the volvo(who I bought this wagon from) did 9" ends on his.

@BlaserBuilds what filler rod did you end up using for welding the axle tubes to the housing? It looks like it went smooth and I'm about to weld mine

Surprised the factory Volvo rear end had disc brakes.

Definitely shouldn't be. Volvo history has always been really forward thinking with safety.

It's real nice under there. Even the brake line fittings came clean off. 41 year old car.
