Didn't even know these were a thing, first I've seen them on any of my channels. Thanks for showing them, looks like performance is better and the extra sound when you push out the blade with the lock and it gets pulled back in. I like the purple, but absolutely feel you on the overall continuity, haha.

That is a very cool idea. I love my AD20.5 and I have the stock textured Ti scales which I actually love. The magnetic detent seems like a logical next step for this knife in its evolution so I just may give it a shot! Thanks for introducing us all to this great thing Craig is doing! And thanks Craig!

Its not a dragonfly , its a mosquito, because most if the ultem is ambers, so if you hold it up to light, it looks like a mosquito trapped in amber ala Jurassic Park.

I own 10 variants of 20.5s (yeah, they’re my favorite). First, I think the concept is very cool, and I do see how it would be beneficial with certain knives...but I wouldn’t want magnets in my 20.5s. I’m not understanding the point of wanting to increase the detent on a knife that I deploy with the shark lock 95% of the time. Why would I want to Spydie flick it when the shark lock is so fidgety already? I get that it has a thumbstuds and the hole, but I almost never use them with this knife. It just seems like this would make it harder to use the shark lock tab to open, which is one of the best features of the knife imo.

This makes me wonder.... would magnetic detent be an option for removing the spring assist on knives that don't typically do well with the spring removed? Could it be an option for de-converting automatic knives? (I know, the right way is just not to get an auto, and then again, no OTF would be able to do this). Just spitballing...

If you watch the channel I’m sure you will see (no pun intended) I forget them all the time. Ian still pretty new to them and only need them to see small things and fine print. At some point I am sure it will become habit to have them on.

Because of my disability i use a knife so so much for opening food packets opening drinks and all sorts but due to my weakness i struggle to flick open some knifes are you able to tell me any mods i can do to this so i can open the blade just by jolting the knife just by swinging it abit hard abit like a gravity knife but with a swing
