Morning Al, Gina and Olivia :) we have similar weather here in Derbyshire UK, today, it was around 3 deg and dry when I took the kids to school this morning, then the heavens opened and we had a brief spell of snow, closely followed by sleet and rain, and it looks set for the whole day. A job I had planned in the garden has been postponed, and i'm busy finding indoor jobs to do, and when you have as many kids as I do there's always something :)

Hi there! AL.... Perfect Christmas gift for Gina would be to make a beaver skin cushion for her milking stool. With the larger scraps of beaver skin, you could have three pair of fur ear muffs made for you. If you get another beaver or two, you could sew them together for a nice couch throw for over the back of the couch, or a lap blanket. You can add to it whenever you get a few more pelts ... Have you harvested one of those nice trees for your Christmas tree yet? You should let Olivia decorate a tree close to the Loo so your December videos have a Holiday look to them. She can make suet & seed covered pine cones, string popcorn, hang round slices of apples and oranges, hang carrots. Addsome red bows, red plastic ball ornaments.....

The beaver pelts are good for winter hats, coats, winter blankets, most anything that would benefit what is needed, can sell the pelts also. The new build is looking good as always nothing but the best in anything you tackle. It is a building that can't wait to be used for sure. Have a great rest of your day Lumnahs.

I would be EXTREMELY careful with that. Especially if they're posting on youtube. I'm not sure a court would separate the act of checking for beaver activity and the act of trapping. I wouldn't push it. It's easy to argue that in the KZbin comment section, it's a lot harder to get a real life judge to go along with you. New hampshire fis 312.02

God forbid that Al would ever see the moose..................He might kill it, like the beavers he has drowned. @@carolkimbell5174 --- I know it was a ridiculous statement, but I will continue to chip at Al as long as he refuses to look into non lethal ways of controlling the beaver dams OR he blocks my comments because he's tired of hearing from me. Damn it, there are better ways to control the little critters and if Al had just put half as much effort in working on those methods than he has put in building that Royal Potty shed, he'd be done by now.

@@joeanonemouse Believe it or not, there are no mice, just skunks, ravens, robins, blue jays, and one wonderful grey squirrel named Tuffy, all of which we feed, not kill. However, my main point here is that there are proven alternatives to trapping the beavers which allow you to control their flooding. They are called Beaver Deceivers, which AL appears to ignore exist.

You haven't been around many animals, have you? Animals can actually talk. You have to be consistent with the words you use. Then you have to listen to their response. Yes and no is the easiest response to learn. My cats can respond yes or no to basic questions like you hungry, food, water, go out. Cows and horses love being sung to. The great apes, dolphins, and whales can understand simple statements and sentences. They answer back if you know how to listen.

Love your new project land (Beaverdale?). For the price of 1 or 2 new battery operated tools, you could purchase a portable 1000 - 2000 Watt battery powered inverter like the Jackery. This would allow you to plug in your wired tools like grinder and sawzall at the sight. You could also recharge all your battery packs for your cordless tools on-sight. Add a solar panel to the roof of your shed and it could be always charged and eliminate the need to take it home to charge it up each night.

Just a thought... Don't put oil on your noodles/pasta and never rinse them. Give them a few shakes in a colander to keep them from sticking. The starch from cooking them helps the sauce(tomato sauce, cheese sauce, etc) stick to the pasta. Putting oil/rinsing them kind of kills the ability of the sauces to stick. 😉

We live in suburban Chicago and we have a small creek that flows behind our property. About 20 years ago, we had Beavers take up residence in our creek. I'm not sure how many, but there were about half a dozen dams built in an about 3/4 mile with the last two right behind our property and about 100 yards down stream. On of the neighbors called animal control, who came and trapped all the animals and removed the dams. I have no idea where the beavers were relocated, but in 20 years, they have never returned.

Al, Gina, Olivia, The pasta looked extra tasty. Please set a place for me. Last night we had thundersnow here in the Scottish Borders, that is a snowstorm with thunder and lightning. About 4" of snow going to icy slush right now. Our chickens have stayed in their run today. I'm still renovating a room in the attic. Ceiling repair today. The outhouse looks very pioneer spirit! It's already a nice setting by the pond. Exciting times for the off-season. Regards Stephen.

Thundersnow has to be one of best treats that The Maker can give us! Whenever that happens, it's like "Wow, man!" - nice to observe! 👍

Watch in the spring when the snow melts. You’re going to have a lot of water then. You might want to lower your little pond some more. Up at our camp they lowered the lake down really far and after the snow melted it was right back up there.

Keep the overhang always let things drip well clear to avoid splashing mud up the walls. Or have extended gutters to run clear. Better still harvest the rain at a high level to run by gravity to a tap. Speaking of which use the tractor to elivate water tubs to take around farm and Sophie off to were you want it elivate bucket enjoy your vids in lock down. How about doing high lights jim

Lumnah Acres 2.0 has some BEAUTIFUL trees situated near the loo. Just noticed that, as you were cutting the roofing material.

Absolutely beautiful property. Love the “outhouse” as well. We’re going to need a “bathroom” when we start having farm tours. I’m thinking something similar to this with His &Hers compost toilets would be pretty cool. Love your channel. So inspiring!!! God Bless. 🙏❤️
