I would glue the caps on the upright pieces, and glue the T fittings on the long bottom pieces. The glue would seal to the pipes, so no contamination. You could still take it apart, but you'd have less loose parts to keep up with. But that's a cool drying contraption.

@@tonygrimes13 Read it again Tony, what Kevin is saying; is to just glue end caps, reducing the amount of small parts for cleaning, But I would have waited until after first use, that way any glue ( maybe even primer ) gets dry time to completely cure, and the parts all get individual deep cleaning ! Good afternoon Lumnah family from a humid Minnesota. We are going to get up to 89 degrees today and the dewpoint is tropical at 70 degrees! Good afternoon viewers! I'm glad you're replacing your fingers in your chicken plucker. I would imagine the rubber goes bad after a few years. Thanks for showing the use of the multi-tool. I haven't seen the accordian style chicken plucker fingers before. I like the look of those. I have an old washer and my farmer neighbor made his plucker out of his old washing machine so I'm going to try that. Maybe this winter I'll be able to find out how he did it. That is a nice looking chicken plucker. I'm so glad Gina could help you do this. I bet your arms are tired! It works good! Cool, making a drying rack for the chicken carcasses. That's great that you can take it apart and bleach it so it can be cleaned. Is PVC food safe? I know it's used for water lines. So 8 inch risers for the stands for the chicken carcasses? I do like your ratcheting PVC cutter! So 40 bucks to hold ten chickens, not too bad! I like it! I've been using Heinz White Vinegar bottles filled with water to hold my carcasses to dry. I can wash them and use them for hummingbird nectar in the summer. Yay, new animals! Forrest and Fern the new barn cats! That is loud purring. Good that they can use Brutus' old dog kennel. I'm so glad that you're leaving them in the barn this time. I love your sink in the greenhouse room. I like 150 degrees for scalding too. That's so nice that you have the outdoor hot water spigot! That is a really nice feature! That scalder is a nice one too. We have to keep an eye on our temperature and re-heat it when we need to with a propane burner. Fog in July, humid! Nice sunrise with the cows in the frame. Chicken wrangling! I've been lucky to have 7 to 8 pound birds but I raise Cornish Cross hens. The butcher area looks nice in the Harvest House! Do you dunk your meat birds in cold water after the scalding and then put them in the plucker? Wow, 51 birds done! The bags I use are 190 degrees for 10 seconds. I like the slit for the legs you do Al! Thanks for this video Lumnah family!
