Man, full length headers with the engine in on an A body... you're a brave man. Next time, hang the headers in the engine bay on bailing wire before you drop the motor in. Still can't believe there's guys who have put big blocks and Hemi's in these cars... 😂

Hats off to you and Dad, Anna for stabbing those headers in. It must have been very frustrating to have so many clearance problems. I was just wondering why you didn't go with the Mopar HP exhaust manifolds instead? This is going to be a driver right, not a racer if I remember correctly. Maybe you just don't have a set of the HP manifolds laying around? They are rare to find now. Thanks for the video Jed. Carry on!😊

You didn't miss out on those anchor motor mounts. I bought them for my 91 wrangler with the puny 2.5 4 cylinder, and after less than a year of daily driving my anchor motor mounts failed, the passenger side ripped clean off the frame and the drivers side mount had torn rubber.

I know the pain of the A body header installation brother, but you got it lol Also the rock auto blues as well, the last thing I ordered were small block dual points and they sent me big block points. I tried to get a refund but there ain't no contact for returns so what do you do? Good job on the video, hope to see the follow up soon 👍

Yea headers are tough just put a set of headers on my buddy's 69 dart with a 440 he has shoemacher headers they were a pian but passenger side was perfect other then spark pulg issues just take a socket and hit the tub a hiar and will be fine but the drivers side same problems that you had jed

I don't think anyone makes V8 Duster headers that don't suckbto install. Unless you switch to Qa1 front k member and suspension, then there's room.

I'm cheating, I'm putting mine in a '63 Valiant with Hedman Husler fenderwell headers so they'll be a cake walk, HOWEVER, I also get the pleasure of modifying the firewall to eliminate the hump for the windshield wiper motor & linkage & put in a section of one for a '64 to clear the distributor,for a dual reservoir master cylinder, heat shield, & lines, trans tunnel for a scatter shield, REAL clutch linkage, Hurst Ram Rod shifter, & a partridge in a pear tree.... yyyyyeah, happy, happy, joy, joy! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
