Installing my Takeda intake

I had this installed & experienced a high amount of heat coming from the engine, it was so much that I uninstalled it but it made a nice sound

@@truthtimetv4575 YESSIR! I now have an AEM cold air intake which is fitted like a short ram but because the filter is enclosed it is operates as a cold air intake,& now no more hot air & the sound & pick up of my car is perfect.

I heard that the battery should be disconnected so it can relearn the new flow, & this was from a honda technician

I kept that two metal bar thing there and just cut off some hoses on each end of em connecting it to the intake and the other line. Should this be fine or should I take it all off like u ?

Why is the coolant line and air line connected separate for this intake?
