Random, but I always like the whistling sound the injection pump makes during cold starts lol

Have had these on my Corolla XRS since 2016. Definitely, improves front end predictability as the motor does not jitter in turns and also taking off from a dead stop almost feels like an LSD, but in very cold weathers they tend to get very stiff and channel vibration through the chassis. Both pros and cons in it.

I’m really liking them so far, I’ve noticed there’s more vibration when it’s cold like you said but I don’t mind!

Yep last video of 2022! In 2023 I want to get better at posting consistently, but also start posting a bit more often by making more videos on my other projects! KZbin shorts is definitely still a consideration, I've heard KZbin has updated their algorithm to better mix shorts and long form content so that's something I want to at least experiment with going forward!

Will do you know if those inserts will fit the AE111 4AGE blacktop corolla?

I'm not sure they will, MWR only says they'll fit 03-08 Corolla/Matrix/Vibe/Celica but I imagine there's polyurethane motor mounts for the AE111 available somewhere too, if I find some I'll post a link!

@@WillChang The leak under the transmission is probably from the axle shaft seals. Had that exact leak a few months ago in my XRS. You have to pop out both axles and replace the rubber seals. Make sure to buy OEM because the aftermarket is a different design. I also have the timing cover leak and that only sends oil down the passenger side

I just did this on my 03 corolla ce. If you have loose items in your car they'll vibrate at idle. I wouldn't say it's a smoother ride but it's definitely more responsive.

Thank you! These bushings will cause a bit more vibration in the car since they'll be stiffer than stock but it's not unbearable!

Can you describe the front motor mount attachment mechanism? I am curious why you didnt need to support the engine to replace it

i feel your pain on that rear motor mount, on mine the rear one of those welded on studs you talked about broke the weld and was spinning freely, 1 had to drop the whole sub frame assy and cut it off with a angle grinder. I'm learning to weld before I mess with that again.

I wonder if there will work with the matrix xr with any auto trans. I don’t see why it wouldn’t. I mean the aluminum radiator said it wouldn’t work with the auto and low and behold it had tranny cooler lines lmao.

I will say this, on my 06 2zzge exige upgrading the mounts to 90a urethane mounts was a game changer. I went with innovative brand mounts and now the car behaves as though I went solid which makes car jump off the line now. At idle the entire chassis shakes and I get a lot of compliments

Hi Will, may I know what is your XRS's fuel consumption? I have a 2005 Matrix XRS with around 8.5km/L, which is not very satisfying for me...

Woah mines been getting way more than that. I have to check my most recent town milage but on my last fill up I did 30 mpg/12.8 km/L

I did the same to my 00 mod Jeep XJ but used OEM on the trans Mount to reduce vibrations
